Today me and Andrew celebrated our one year anniversary. 
While it may seem rather insignificant compared to others who have been in a relationship much longer than ours, it’s still very special to me, and just has made me realize how grateful I am for him.
I’ll try to keep this rather mush-free. 
Andrew’s been pretty much the ideal boyfriend from the get-go. He’s not only been my boyfriend, but one of my best friends. He’s always there when I need to talk, and he respects me and loves me for who I am. I truly am grateful to have such a wonderful person in my life. :love:
We had agreed that we weren’t going to exchange presents because both of us are trying to save money (or have none xD), but he came to pick me up this morning for school like he does every day, but he greeted me at the door with a rose and candy. It was something small, but it was really cute.
Later this evening we went out to IHOP (which was delicious!) and went and saw the movie Tangled (which I adored! You should go rent it and watch it when it comes out!) at a discount movie theater. It was really simple, but I didn’t want anything fancy or extravagant. Simple is enough for me.
Most of the time, I feel like I’ve known Andrew so much longer than what I have. I guess it’s just how close we are, how I can talk to him about, literally, anything. One year seems like such a little amount of time, though time doesn’t really define a relationship, or say too much about it at all.
Anyways, I’ll keep this kind of short. Hope you all are well. <3
Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! That is something special for every couple to hold onto and to treasure with. Mine and Andrew’s two month anniversary is coming up next month! He brings solitude and happiness in my life and is always supporting me and making me a better person. So I know how it goes with the whole lovey dovey thing now. I’m happy for you!

A year with any one person is great! And that was very nice of him to still take you out.
I think it is even a greater show of his character that he sat through Tangled.

(: It sounds like you had a great anniversary as well. I’m not in a relationship but if I were I would probably want to celebrate similar to the way you guys did. It’s the little things that count!

I’ve never been to IHOP. D; For some reason, I have just always thought it wouldn’t be very good… I don’t know why.
I’ve been thinking about renting Tangled, haha. I didn’t know if it was really worth it or not, though. I have seen two commercials for it on TV since I started reading your blog.

I went to Italy in Oct. 2008. It was simply amazing. We did all the usual sights : the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, etc.

Happy One year! It must be so nice to have a boyfriend like Andrew lol The way you described him made him seem ideal. I do not know many boys my age who are ideal boyfriends lol I haven’t had an “idea” boyfriend yet. haha Maybe that’s why we never really last longterm. Tangled is such a cute movie=) I love that movie lol
It was just rude what she said. If she doesn’t want to read it.. then why comment on it? I respect her opinions but I hated that she judged me.
Yea a lot of teenagers agree with what is going on today. Like in society and stuff. A lot of teenagers just let the adults handle everything. I understand what you mean!
