In the realization that my trip to Europe is only 33 days away (!!!!), I’ve been doing an extreme amount of shopping to get more prepared. I’ve been needing to go shopping anyhow for summer clothes, and that just gave me the extra motivation to get off my butt and go.
There’s this secondhand store called Plato’s Closet and they only take name brand clothes that basically look brand new, all for a reasonable price. I was going to go with Becky, but she wanted to go with her sister and me and my mother wanted to go to the mall afterwards, so we planned to meet up there.
My mom and I got there earlier than they did, and I was pretty disappointed. I had been to one before, but a different store. I tried on a couple things but didn’t like them, so we moved on to the mall… just as Becky and her sister were getting there. xD
We hit a few more stores at the mall too, but again didn’t really find anything I liked. That’s one thing about clothes shopping that I don’t like, if I don’t find anything after a while I just get discouraged. I’ve been needing some new tennis shoes as well, but once again I didn’t find anything that I liked. So, we went to the store that we always go to, and always find something at: Kohl’s.
I think if it weren’t for Kohl’s, I would just walk around looking like a hobo, because they always have really cute clothes, for fairly decent prices (though my mom always gets amazing deals because she is part of their club or something… haha). In less than half an hour, we were in and out with some cute new clothes that I can’t wait to wear in France and Italy.
I’ve never gotten a tube top before (featured in the first picture) but I really liked this one, and it’s pretty modest, so I got it. ^^
I guess the moral of the story is to stick to what you know. It could’ve save me a ton of time.
